I’m so sorry your going through this. I can’t believe you are having to defend your right to choose what you do with your body. I stand with you and will speak up against your treatment. There are so many women who stand in solidarity with you and support your choices.

Katie, your life your choice, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, i wish you the best. Men should absolutely not be advising woman what to do with their body and woman should just shut up. opinions are like ass holes, we all have one, keep it to yourself.

Dear “Kate” I am so sorry for your troubles. would have expected some empathy. You should not be treated in this way. I’m shocked that a midwife would involve themselves in your business. Please be aware that the vast majority of the country support your right to bodily autonomy. Take care of yourself, and I will be hoping for a positive out come for you. With the best of wishes Lesley Edgley (an old granny in Wales)

So very sorry you have to go through this Kate . Barbaric treatment instead of compassion at a much needed time . I am sending positive thoughts to you and hope that the case against you is dropped .

I believe that a woman’s health care is between her and her doctor. Women should be able to make informed decisions and doctors should be empowered to save the lives of women. The law needs to be updated. Your body belongs to you; it is not the property of the state.

I’m so sorry you are going through this and have been so let down by our health service which should be there to support you at the hardest time and yet have screwed you over by criminalising you. Sending love and solidarity! Xxx

I am so sorry you are being prosecuted. It is ridiculous to be governed by a really old law. I always thought abortions were legal otherwise how can you obtain the NHS pills? This law should be abolished. Just remember so many women are on your side
