As a woman I stand by Katie. As a human I stand by Katie. We should all have the right to health care. We should all have the right to an abortion.

You are strong, you are brave, and you face these challenges on behalf of all women who are controlled, have their power removed and their worth diminished by government and systems, but I wish you didn’t have to. Thank you for choosing to protect yourself, the world needs you. Any abortion is only ever an act of love, for life, kindness, sacrifice and need.
Dear Katie* I just wanted to say how sorry I was hear about what you are going through and how you have been treated. It’s only in recent years that I have come to understand the kinds of issues facing women in some of our institutions when they are at their most vulnerable. Women in these situations should be treated with care and compassion and not subjected to what I consider to be institutional abuse. I hope it helps in some small way to know how many people care and are campaigning against the treatment you have received. With love Teresa x
The laws concerning abortion need bringing into the 21st century and all NHS personnel need to be made aware that care is foremost and stupid niceties are out of order
I am so sorry, you deserve better than this. I can’t imagine how it was to have gone through all that and be treated like a criminal for nothing but exercising your autonomy and right over your own body . They made me feel like that too. You are not alone. The majority of people in this country support you. You are the victim of a ridiculous miscarriage of justice, but it will be put right for you and others eventually. Good luck and stay strong.
