You may have noticed we’ve been quieter than usual online. The reason is we’re fortifying our communication strategy. 

Across Europe, we are seeing a seismic shift in politics veering towards the right. The far-right have been emboldened to take away our freedoms. In these current times, we need to rally and find ways of communicating and building power outside of social media platforms.

While billionaires fund political campaigns, platforms actively censor ads that challenge the status quo. They claim to connect us, yet they silence critical conversations about the very social issues that shape our lives.

This isn’t just about algorithms, it’s about power. Whose stories are heard, and whose are erased?

By joining our mailing list, you’re fighting against the noise of biased platforms. Stay informed, stay empowered, and stay connected to the conversations they don’t want you to hear. 

The Level Up community is at the heart of the work we do.  

Without you, we would not have been able to send messages of solidarity to Kathryn Mayorga – or over 1,000 messages of solidarity to the mothers whose babies died in prison. 

Without you, we wouldn’t have been able to bombard L’Oreal executives with more than 700 demands to release the product testing information for cancerous Black hair products.

Without you, we wouldn’t have been able to push the press regulator to implement the UK’s first guidelines on reporting fatal domestic abuse – or been able to change countless victim-blaming headlines by creating mass complaints to newspapers.

Without you, we wouldn’t have been able to hold the biggest baby protest in history to call for an end to the imprisonment of pregnant women and mothers. And without that, Eastenders and Coronation Street would never have put pregnancy in prison in the spotlight. 

Without you, we wouldn’t have trained over 400 of you to intervene when it comes to police harassment. 

And none of this action took place on social media.
