Dear Katie, I want you to know that you have my full support during this time. The fact that you are being prosecuted under such an outdated and unjust law is deeply concerning and outright disgusting. Abortion is healthcare, and no one should be criminalised for making decisions about their own body!!! You are not alone in this fight; many people stand with you, advocating for the decriminalisation of abortion and the end of these archaic laws. Stay strong, and remember that your bravery and resilience are inspiring to many.

I’m so sorry for what you’re going through. I work front line in the NHS and am appalled how you’ve been reported for accessing fundamental healthcare. This is such an unbelievably archaic point of view. It is a woman’s right to choose what happens to her body. I feel ashamed that a midwife felt they had a superior attitude and had to report this situation, that person does not deserve to be a midwife -they are the one who should be on trial.

I believe that a woman’s health care is between her and her doctor. Women should be able to make informed decisions and doctors should be empowered to save the lives of women. The law needs to be updated. Your body belongs to you; it is not the property of the state.

I am so sorry you are being prosecuted. It is ridiculous to be governed by a really old law. I always thought abortions were legal otherwise how can you obtain the NHS pills? This law should be abolished. Just remember so many women are on your side
