Dear Katie, I want you to know that you have my full support during this time. The fact that you are being prosecuted under such an outdated and unjust law is deeply concerning and outright disgusting. Abortion is healthcare, and no one should be criminalised for making decisions about their own body!!! You are not alone in this fight; many people stand with you, advocating for the decriminalisation of abortion and the end of these archaic laws. Stay strong, and remember that your bravery and resilience are inspiring to many.

I am so sorry, you deserve better than this. I can’t imagine how it was to have gone through all that and be treated like a criminal for nothing but exercising your autonomy and right over your own body . They made me feel like that too. And it is wrong. It’s hard to find the words but I wanted to write to you so you know that you are not alone, that there are so many of us on your side. I am sending love and solidarity. Dear “Kate” I am so sorry for your troubles. would have expected some empathy. You should not be treated in this way. I’m shocked that a midwife would involve themselves in your business. Please be aware that the vast majority of the country support your right to bodily autonomy. Take care of yourself, and I will be hoping for a positive out come for you.
