This week, the inquest into the baby’s death at Bronzefield prison in 2019 opens. It will determine the facts of baby Aisha’s death, and how her 18-year-old mother was left to give birth alone in her cell, without medical assistance.

The inquest process will be gruelling and traumatic for Aisha’s mum, so Level Up is gathering messages of solidarity to pass onto her lawyer.
